Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite - Valley of Traverse City

Interested In Becoming a 32° Scottish Rite Mason?

The first requirement in becoming a Scottish Rite Mason is that you must be a Master Mason in a recognized Masonic Lodge.  In Michigan, membership in any of our Lodges that are under the Jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Michigan are recognized.

If your already a Master Mason, you may wish to petition Scottish Rite membership to further expand and enhance your Masonic knowledge. You can ask a Scottish Rite Mason for a petition, contact our Valley Secretary directly for information, contact your own Lodge's Scottish Rite Representative, if they have one, or you may download and print a petition from this page.

Petitions are not yet, but will soon be, available in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat format for printing.

If you are not as yet a Master Mason, please view the How to Join link on the Main Page under The Real Meaning of Masonry to learn more about how you may join our fraternity. We are the oldest and largest fraternity in the word.

Our Executive Secretary will be more than pleased to assist you on your journey. Contact him personally for additional questions or assistance.
