In God We Trust

In God We Trust

Is God out of favor?

Sometimes it seems like God has fallen out of favor. Almost daily we read of attacks on religion and the religious. Moral beliefs are ridiculed. It has gotten to the point that some schools will not even allow the "Pledge of Allegiance" to be recited because it includes the name of God.

There are men who take pride in their belief in God. Though they worship in different ways and are members of different faiths, they are united in their unswerving faith in the one God of all creation. These are men who believe God guides us along the path of moral and ethical behavior. These are men who believe character does matter. These are men who are not ashamed to say, "My hope is in God".

Who are these men? They are 32º Freemasons.

Welcome to our website. We are very pleased that you are here. Hopefully, you will be able to learn a little about us and our Fraternity. We are very proud of what we do as Masons. Members should note the Trestleboard (Event Schedule) on the right side that shows our upcoming events. As information comes to the webmaster, it is posted. Valley and Scottish Rite members are always welcome.

The links to the left are for both members and visitors alike. By visiting each link, you will discover much about Freemasonry and of our activities as Scottish Rite Masons on the North Shores of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Let us know where you are from and if this site has been of some service. Private inquiries can be made through the e-mail links provided or you welcome to send a message to the Webmaster.

Our next Valley Reunion is in October, 2009 at the Traverse City Masonic Temple on West Bay Shores Road. Registration begins at 8:00am; with the first degree starting at 9:00am. Come join us. All that is necessary is a paid up dues card from your Jurisdiction to show at the registration table. Lunch and Reunion Banquet meals are also available for a nominal fee. Meeting new friends and fellowship is free!
